Prism Society provides confidential guidance, protection support, counseling, referrals, and community-based assistance to help individuals access safer, more inclusive, and respectful services across Lebanon.
About Our Support Efforts
Prism Society provides professional, confidential, and compassionate support to LGBTQIA+ individuals and other members of diverse communities who may be facing protection concerns, discrimination, violence, legal challenges, social exclusion, or difficulties accessing inclusive services.
Our support team may include helpline operators, protection officers, documentation officers, counselors, caseworkers, and specialized partners who work together to assess individual needs and identify the most appropriate available form of assistance.
Depending on the nature and urgency of each case, support may include confidential guidance, case assessment, documentation of violations, legal information, counseling, referrals, psychosocial assistance, and connections to trusted service providers.
Community members can contact Prism Society through our official phone number or email address to request information, schedule an appointment, report a protection concern, or ask for a referral. Urgent and high-risk cases may be prioritized according to available capacity and safeguarding procedures.
We are committed to understanding community needs with care and respect, protecting confidentiality, and ensuring that every person is treated with dignity and professionalism. Our approach places the individual at the center of the support process and encourages informed participation in decisions that affect their safety and well-being.
Through direct assistance, documentation, partnerships, and ethical advocacy, Prism Society works alongside the community to strengthen access to protection, justice, inclusive services, and long-term support.

About the Referral System
Prism Society's Referral System connects individuals with trusted professionals, organizations, and support services that can respond to their specific needs. Our network includes legal, medical, psychological, humanitarian, and community-based partners committed to providing respectful and inclusive assistance.
Depending on each situation, referrals may include legal guidance, mental health services, healthcare providers, protection support, social services, community organizations, educational opportunities, or emergency assistance. Every request is handled with confidentiality, professionalism, and respect.

Family Solidarity Initiative
About the Initiative
The Family Solidarity Initiative supports parents, siblings, relatives, and caregivers of LGBTQIA+ individuals by providing a respectful environment for learning, discussion, and mutual support.
Through professionally facilitated support groups, participants have the opportunity to better understand sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics while discussing challenges they may experience within their families or communities.
Sessions encourage respectful communication, strengthen family relationships, reduce stigma, and help families better support their LGBTQIA+ loved ones. Participants also have the opportunity to connect with other families facing similar experiences and receive guidance from trained professionals.
